WHO WE ARE
The Rotary Club of Accra South is one of the 30 active club in Ghana and one of the about 50 Rotary clubs in Rotary’s District 9102 comprising Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Niger, and also part of the 33,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas.
The Rotary club of Accra South has a current active volunteer strength of 52 with a healthy mix of classifications. The Club was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Accra East under the direct mentorship of PP Edwin Sam, then District Governor’s Representative. The Rotary theme for the year of our charter – Create Awareness, Take Action, was auspicious indeed as in the years since our charter, we have individually and collectively sought to create awareness and take appropriate action in furtherance of the ideas and ideals of Rotary.
In the years since our charter, RCAS has worked diligently and consistently to uphold, promote and live the ethos of Rotary by exemplifying the spirit behind the Rotary motto – Service Above Self.
