District Governor Jeffrey Afful had his primary education in Garrison Primary school, Burma Camp, Accra Ghana and attended secondary School at the Presbyterian boys secondary school in Legon, Accra and then to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology for His tertiary education where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Building Technology
He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK
He is a quantity Surveyor and a Project Management Professional (PMP) He is a fellow of the Ghana Institute of Surveyors (GhIS) and member of the Project Management Institute (PMI)
DG Jeff has worked with a number of consulting Quantity Surveying and Project management Firms – QU-Ess Consult, GHC Africa Projects and VP Developments Limited. He is currently the principal Partner of PC&M Advisors, a quantity surveying and Project Management Consulting Firm Located in East Legon Accra, Ghana
Since 1996, He has worked on various projects – residential/real estate development, office buildings, commercial buildings, educational/medical facilities, industrial buildings and restoration projects
He was a charter member of the Rotaract Club of Accra Ring Road Central (RRC) and became its president in 1998-1999 Rotary year
He was inducted into the Rotary Club of Accra Ring Road central in December 2001 with the classification ‘Quantity Surveying, Project Management’ and became the club president in 2008-2009, having served as Sergeant-at-arms and Director of all the Avenues of service (Community, Club, International and Vocational) from 2002-2006. He was Vice President in 2010-2011
He was Appointed the district Governors Special Representative (DGSR) in September 2011 and spearheaded the formation of the Rotary Club of Accra-Legon East
He has served on a number of national committees – Ghana Extension committee, Host Organizing Committee, Rotary Family Health Days Committee, and Punctuality and Time Management Project Committee
He was nominated by his club and subsequently selected to serve as District Governor for district 9102 in the Rotary Year 2018-2019. He is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a Rotary Foundation Benefactor. He was a Technical Adviser on the construction of a two-story Vaccine Cold Room Facility partly financed by the Rotary Foundation. He is a one-time Host Counselor to an Ambassadorial Scholar from District 5050
